The Studio Saigon is very excited to be be asked to collaborate with Saigon Supersound on the upcoming videos to accompany the timeless classic “Saigon Dep Lam” by Carol Kim.
Studio Saigons resident artist ( literally as he’s locked down at for two weeks ), Richie Fawcett, is excited and proud to be asked to draw the Saigon street scenes for use in the videos and has been working with Saigon Supersound, ( based in Germany ) on bringing his classic black and white pen and ink street scenes to life for the icon song “Saigon dep Lam” by Carol Kim, and many more classics from the era.
A selection of test clips have been exclusively released by Saigon Supersound and can be seen here for a glimpse of what to expect.
Richie Has been drawing the city for the last 10 years and in that time witnessed the change it undertook, recording the streets in detailed sketches. This collaboration is an extremely proud moment for the artist who has his own Studio and Gallery in the heart of Saigon, surrounded by the streets he has drawn over the years.
The Videos will accompany a new album from Saigon Supersound featuring many classics.
